Coalescers
An Oil/Water Coalescer is an effective solution for removing tramp oils and other non-emulsified oils from a waste stream. Coalescing is often an effective technology when used to improve an existing waste treatment system.
Another effective use of a coalescer is to have it run continuosly on a rinse tank, cleaner tank, or coolant sump removing the free oil and improving fluid life.
Coalescers are an effective solution for oil removal because:
- They are reliable and have no moving parts to malfunction
- They effectively remove the majority of free oils
- They have minimal operating costs
- They are inexpensive, starting under $1000 for 1 GPM
- Fluid life can effectively be extended
